Ponder, who is also the founder of the WebCityGirls online platform, took on the challenge of launching the Summit in the unstoppable city of New York. The sentiment among both online viewers and registered attendees was empowering, positive, and the message was clear: Hispanic women uniting and collaborating to achieve professional and personal growth.

The main voices of this engaging conference were a number of powerful women and corporate leaders: Laura I. Gomez, technology leader of Silicon Valley and a champion of diversity, winner of first-ever #UnstoppableLATINAS Leadership award; Carolina Santamarina, who in addition to being VP of Sales and Manager General of the prestigious SBS Broadcasting System in Miami was also a winner of recognition for her great contribution as a professional; Lucienne Gigante, co-founder of AccessLatina; Liz Blacker, EVP of iHeartMedia Multicultural Strategy; Madelin Bosakweich, VP of Sales of IBT Media; Ivette Mayo, founder of “Power in Heels Network”; Olga María, creator of “Dreams in Heels”; Maria Caso, life coach and creator of “Conversations with Maria Caso”; and Nancy Genova, President of 100 Hispanic Women National.

In addition, live segments were organized with JCPenney, who captivated the audience with a fashion segment and focus on the professional woman with influencer Mercedes Sanchez; AARP New York informed attendees about quality of life with its movement #DisruptAging; and the spokesperson of the American Heart Association, María Vargas-Pion, shared important information on how to take care of our hearts since heart disease is the number one cause of death in women. The platforms 100 Hispanic Women National and Latinas en New York explained the reason why it is so important to join organizations that are empowering Latina women. Neutrogena closed the conference, hosting a talk with Coach María Caso in an impactful conversation on how to employ the lessons learned during the conference!
