Landmark Sites include: The Abraham L. Merrill House a “salt-box” cottage built around 1848 for Merrill, a farmer as a” workmen’s cottage”. It has been immaculately restored, by its current owner, Mr. John Foxel, a noted author, poet, collector and preservationist. Featured on the Discovery Channels documentary series, Oddities and Odd Folks Homes.

The Reformed Protestant Dutch Church is an 1845 Greek Revival Sanctuary Building built by local builder, James Burgher its 1898 Sunday School Addition, was designed by Oscar S. Teale in the Akron Plan. The congregation has occupied its current site since 1680. The site was set apart as the Old Dutch Burial Ground. The surrounding cemetery, predates the erection of any house of worship. It contains the remains of the communities original settlers as well as tombstones by noted carvers. It has received separate designation, on the National Register of Historic Places as well as its own NYC Landmark designation.

The church is celebrating its 350th Anniversary and is embarking on a major fundraising campaign
to renovate and endow its historic site. The church also hosts numerous community programs and events including our Suit-Up Network .

All Day Event Ticket is $40 for adults and $20 for children .Tour only is $20. for Adults and $10. for children 10 years and younger. Sunday Dinner is $25 for adults and $10 for children 1 years and younger.
