The workshop, Staten Island Parents: You Matter!, on Thursday, February 25, 7-9 pm, in the Regina M. McGinn MD Education Center, 475 Seaview Avenue, Ocean Breeze will provide parents with the resources and tools to make a difference in their child’s life .

Patricia Kane, New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA), is chair. Participating organizations include the New York State Women, Inc. – Staten Island, Richmond and Bay Ridge chapters, Amethyst House, South Shore Democratic Club, World of Women (WOW), Soroptimist International-SI; Stapleton UAME Church, National Council of Negro Women Staten Island North Shore Section, Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority, Inc., Lambda Chapter, Staten Island Women’s Bar Association, Angel Communities, Staten Island Women’s Political Caucus, SI Alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) SI, Tackling Youth Substance Abuse (TYSA).
