Or…do it backwards! Whether your first stop is Richmondtown or Decker farm you’ll enjoy a full day of old-fashioned family fun in both places for one low price.Stroll down Center Street and discover craftsmanship spanning several hundred years of American life.  The town activities include: cider pressing, candle making, embroidery and needlework, furniture making, knitting, lace making, quilting, stonecarving, tinsmithing, and much, much more!Trolley up to the Farm and pick pumpkins, get lost in the corn maze, take a hayride and get your face (and pumpkin) painted. And then there’s the…SINS OF SALEMEgads! Get ready to go back to the 17th century and experience a witch trial! This year we introduce a brand new short play called the Sins of Salem penned by Cathy DiDomenico and directed by Wayne Miller. Enter the Historic Richmond Town courtroom and be prepared to witness justice Salem style. Hear the testimony. Cringe at the magistrate. Plead with the accused. Oh my! How will it end? The jurors will decide.  DiDomenico brings her legal eye to the production and bases the play on historical documents. Miller stages the performance with the best local performers and gives the production a realism that rocks a contemporary audience. Basically, expect a nasty trial. The performances are FREE with a Great American Harvest Fest ticket. Seats will fill up fast so get to the Courthouse early. This is a first come, first seated event. The play may not be suitable for very small children. But worth it for everyone else!Three performances! Noon, 2pm and 4 pm.The Great American Harvest Fest joins for the first time two popular events, Old Home Day and Pumpkin Picking!  This will get you rootin’, tootin’, and feelin’ fine!  Rain or shine!
