Staten Island, New York – The Conference House Association will be hosting an “October Festival” on the Great Lawn of Conference House Park, 7455 Hylan Blvd on Saturday October 18, 2014 (rain date: Oct. 19). This is the Associations first time holding this fall event.
The event will start at 1PM, food and drink will be served until 5PM.
Les Moore and the Contradictions, a well known local band, will be performing live music throughout the afternoon on a stage in front of the historical home. Grilled Bratwurst, Kielbasa, Hotdogs with all the Trimmings, Beer & Soft Drinks will be included in ticket prices.
Children 5-12 will be $10. Adults will be $20, and patrons 21 and older will be given a wristband for beer.
Guests are urged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to put in the grass during the festival.
All proceeds will be benefitting the Conference House to aid in the restoration process, educational programs, and community outreach.
Many tickets have already been sold and ticket sales will be closing one week before the event.
