Staten Island Zoo is once again proud to be Going Blue!  Autism Awareness Day at the Staten Island Zoo will provide a friendly, judgment-free environment for families affected by autism spectrum disorders.  The day will allow people with autism to enjoy the great offerings provided by the zoo, in addition to animal presentations, sensory exploration activities, and a scavenger hunt!  A quiet area will also be available for families who would like to take a break from the activities.  For this event, gates will open one hour early at 9:00am and activities will run through 12:00pm.  Tickets must be purchased through this site.  Participants must have the paper ticket print-outs at the gate to enter.  Electronic versions will unfortunately not be accepted.
