This labor of love was started by Staten Islander Daniel Rand. Daniel is a 15-time national regional finalist for best Halloween costume in the United States. Rand also works as a special effects engineer in costume designing and has been building costumes and competing for 26 years. He has been recognized for creating amazing costumes in competitions. Daniel is the Grand Marshall and a Grand Prize winner of the famous Costume competition at Webster Hall, New York City.

According to Daniel, New York is the Halloween capital of the world. Daniel also shares his vision by offering professional Halloween décor and custom-built haunted houses for the past 26 years. He credits the birth of his daughter, who was born on Halloween and named the Halloween Queen and her father goes by the moniker The Halloween God.
