TRAVIS 4TH OF JULY PARADE TUESDAY JULY 4, 2023 Staten Island, Prior to the 12:30 p.m. parade step off from the Showplace Center, there will be a 12:00 ceremony at Independence Park. During the ceremony, we will recognize our dignitaries and honored guests including our Grand Marshal. The reviewing stand is located at Independence Park (Corner of Victory Blvd and Glenn Street).
Parking for parade participants ONLY will be available at the Showplace Center, located at 141 East Service Road.
Please note that all access roads into Travis will be closed at 11:30 a.m. The formation and dismissal areas of the parade are the same (Showplace Center, 141 East Service Road). The triangular-shaped parade route departing from Showplace Center is: West on Victory Boulevard to Glen Street to Cannon Avenue; South on Victory Boulevard back to 141 East Service Road.
DIRECTIONS & PARKING
Please note that the New York City Police Department will close all access roads into Travis at 11:30 a.m.
From the Verrazano Bridge
Take 278 West (Staten Island Expressway) to 440 South (West Shore Expressway). Take Exit 7, Victory Boulevard. Make left at the traffic light (Victory Blvd) and right into Showplace Center.
From the Outerbridge Crossing
Take 440 North (West Shore Expressway) to Exit 7 Victory Boulevard. Make right at the traffic light (Victory Blvd) and immediate right into Showplace Center.

Rich has received this honor posthumously, having volunteered on the Travis 4th of July Parade committee for 10 years. His support of the parade ranged from judging the house decoration contest, controlling chaos at the Parade line up, and as Sargent at Arms at meetings. His dedication extended from Parade lineup to Parade cleanup and beyond. He is very much missed by the committee.
