As one of just 1,400 NYC Parks Lifeguards, you will be part of an elite group that is committed to serving the public.Parks’ beaches open each Memorial Day weekend. Cedar Grove and Wolfe’s Pond beaches are open through Labor Day, all other beaches are open through Sunday, September 13 and the pools are open from late June through Labor Day. Lifeguards work 48 hours each week and first-year lifeguards will earn a minimum of $13.57 an hour, for a weekly salary of over $650.00.Think you’re whistle worthy?
