All government offices are closed, including:
Public schools and Department of Education (DOE) offices
Department of Motor Vehicles
City and State Courts
Social Security offices
Post offices are closed & there will be no mail delivery
Alternate Side Parking (street cleaning) rules are suspended, and you do not have to pay the parking meters on Labor Day.
️There will be no trash, recycling, or compost collection.
All branches of the City’s Public Library systems are closed.
⛴️The Staten Island Ferry runs on a holiday schedule.
