DSNY Holiday Calendar- NYC Garbage Schedule

DSNY Holiday Calendar- NYC Garbage Schedule  2022

Update from NYC Sanitation
Monday update: While NYC got mostly rain as anticipated and today’s winds should help dry out the roadways, temperatures will again fall, and salt spreaders will be ready to address any icy conditions tonight & tomorrow if needed.
The DOS will continue to work on cleaning operations citywide. While today is a holiday, the regular collection will resume tomorrow; please put material out according to your normal collection on schedule.
NYC DOS wants to repeat this message: We especially want to thank all our employees working today, those who remain dedicated to keeping the City healthy, safe & clean. The connection between Dr. King & sanitation work is not lost on us, and we want to recognize them for their work.

To help provide city residents with Sanitation-related service reminders, updates, and special event schedules, the New York City Department of Sanitation has launched DSNY Info. DSNY Info is a smartphone and tablet app. The app also includes tips to reduce, reuse, and recycle, making it easier for New Yorkers to send zero waste to landfills by 2030. The free app is available for both iOS and Android operating systems and can be found by searching DSNY Info in the Apple App and Google Play stores.
