“After hearing directly from several Staten Island Local 3 members, who are facing so much uncertainty and economic hardship, I decided the least we could do was help them make sure their children are ready to go back to school come September”, said Schwartz. “My headquarters will serve as a drop-off location for school supplies starting August 19 all the way through September 1. I am asking friends, neighbors and Staten Islanders from every corner of our borough to come and donate. This is a non-partisan call for help,”
