PUPPETMOBILE SHOW REQUEST APPLICATION
The PuppetMobile is taking performance requests for the Fall 2016 season! Please note that PuppetMobile performances can only take place in New York City parks, recreation centers and schoolyards and all performance must be open to the public. The PuppetMobile is not available for private functions.

MOBILE RECREATION VANS APPLICATION
Description: Permit applications are now available online for the Mobile Recreation Program which offers organized activities at events that are free and open to the public. Teams of trained Parks staff travel throughout the five boroughs in our Play Mobiles and Fitness Mobiles that are stocked with games, toys, and exercise equipment.

CITY OF WATER DAY IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD
The Waterfront Alliance is asking all organizations interested in participating in “In Your Neighborhood” events for City of Water Day to sign-up online though our website by May 1. Activities should highlight the amenities that are derived from the public use of our harbor, river, shores, and also various community activities along your waterfront. Examples of past activities include sailing, kayaking, wet labs, waterfront walking tours, dancing, music, poetry readings, face painting, children’s crafts, etc.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
IT’S MY PARK PROGRAM
Description: Partnerships for Parks invites you to get involved in It’s My Park hands-on service projects in all five boroughs. Our It’s My Park program offers year-round volunteer opportunities — from painting benches and planting bulbs, to weeding and cleaning, and much more!
Time: Applications are due the first day of the month before the proposed project date.

STEWARDSHIP PROJECTS | NYC PARKS STEWARDSHIP
Description: Volunteers can help with forest and wetland restoration, planting and pruning street trees, harvesting and propagating native seed and monitoring local wildlife. By becoming a steward of NYC’s green spaces, you can help ensure that our city’s natural resources are kept safe for future generations.

Location: Ocean Breeze Complex- Meet upstairs in the Atrium, 625 Father Capodanno Blvd.
Description: Would you like to have more support for your community group? In this workshop, participants will gain the skills to build strong relationships with businesses, government, and other organizations. You will leave knowing what type of organization you are going to approach next, and how to get them on board.
