The NYPD Harmony Day Picnic 7/19 At Clove Lakes Park Staten Island NYC
Harmony Day picnics are annual events sponsored by the NYPD that are held throughout the eight Patrol Boroughs of New York City to promote positive police-youth relations. Crime prevention is stressed and various community agencies participate.
NYPD emergency equipment will be on display during the event. Additional attractions will include Zumba, a rock-climbing wall, a baseball game, and arts and crafts.
Available for free will be lunch; beverages, such as water and juice; and treats, including snow cones.
More than 10,000 children citywide attend Harmony Day events, which offer interaction with police units such as Mounted, Aviation, Emergency Services and K-9. Other city agencies, community groups, and businesses also participate.

Harmony Day Picnics are annual events of the New York City Police Department’s eight (8) Patrol Boroughs. The picnics promote positive police-youth relations, bringing together police and young people in a positive setting. Over 10,000 children who participate each year are able to view police units such as Mounted, Aviation, Emergency Services and K-9. Other city agencies, community groups, and businesses participate.
