Staten Island LGBTQ Youth Summit Saturday, May 21, 2016. The summit will showcase vital community services available for LGBTQ youth in Staten Island and will feature youth-led workshops, presentations, and opportunities for networking and making connections.

On Saturday, May 21, the first ever Staten Island LGBTQ Youth Summit will be held at the College of Staten Island. This event is being sponsored by the Hetrick-Martin Institute, in conjunction with the Pride Center of Staten Island, New York City Council Speaker, Mellisa Mark-Viverito, the NYC Council LGBT Caucus, and NYC Council Member Debi Rose.

The day will include workshops about self-esteem, gender identity, how to be a great ally, healthy relationships and more. The day will culminate with a talent show, followed by a dance. This event is open to LGBTQ and allied youth ages 13-24 and is completely free!
