We will be discussing the future Maker Park Radio project, a live streaming internet radio station that will be operating out of a shipping container in Maker Park.

This information session will be open to any DJs and Show Producers interested in participating.

3D Designing & Printing RC Boats Meet Up

Saturday, March 4th 12pm – 5pm

The application of 3D modeling & printing can empower communities to model solutions for social good.

Run by 3Ducators, there will be the following sessions:

• 3D Modeling Assembly drawing (Boats)using open source softwares
• Embedding electronics for functioning(Arduino)
• 3D Printing and Slicing the BOAT model, VIDEOS & DEMOS of 3D printed kayaks.
• Demonstration of working model of 3D Printed RC boat.

Screen Printing

Saturday February 25th & Sunday February 26th

Learn the fun and creative craft of screen printing in this 2-day intensive course. You’ll get hands-on experience with the full screen printing process, including preparing your artwork, coating and exposing your screen, working with ink, reclaiming your screen for reuse, and of course, printing your artwork. This is a beginner class, so no experience necessary!

Learn how to sew! Or have a project started that you need help with? Know some basic machine sewing but want to learn expert tips?  We’ll cover the basics such as fabrics, fitting, laying out, pinning & cutting a pattern to make a project, depending on what you want to learn.

Basic Mig Welding – March

Metal Inert Gas(MIG) welding is the process of using electricity and argon gas to weld two pieces of metal together. It is the simplest and easiest form of welding, making it accessible for the average person to learn.

Make Your Future Artist in Residence, Stephanie Kosinski, is creating an installation in our storefront project space and is inviting other artists to participate! Submit your small work images to her for consideration.
