Winter in Historic Richmond Town 2024
As the chilly weather settles over Staten Island, the grounds at Historic Richmond Town become the perfect setting for a brisk walk in the frosty air, and the charming Historic Village is a welcome reprieve to warm up beside a cozy hearth and enjoy one of our many programs this season.
Fri. – Sun. | January 12 – April 28 | 1pm & 3pm
Stop by 11 am-5 pm Friday-Sunday to enjoy a visit to our Historical Museum and go on a walking tour unlike any other in NYC. Our Two Centuries Tour invites you to contemplate the changing landscape and human population of Staten Island over time, from European contact through the era of the young republic. Tours step off at 1 pm and 3 pm. After your tour, stop by the Village Store where you can purchase an array of branded merchandise and items handmade right here in our historic village.
Sat. January 20 & 27 | 6pm & 8pm
This indoor concert series takes place in our historic Guyon Tavern, which boasts a wood-burning stove, flickering candles, live music, and the true feel of a 19th century saloon. Beverage options harken back to the period and include hot spiced apple cider, scratch made mulled wine, as well as a refreshing selection of beers.
